金沢基督教会の歴史

1954年7月 弓山喜代校長より当時中央聖書学校2年山口恭子神学生は
金沢の地での伝道開拓を勧められる。山口恭子神学生の出身は金沢の地であった為である。釜利谷で日曜日ごとに礼拝をもつ。まもなく六浦の地に伝道の場所を移す。
1956年3月2日 山口神学生 中央聖書学校を卒業。
1956年6月5日 山口師 金沢基督教会の初代主管牧師に任命を受ける。
1957年９月 礼拝堂献堂式 教団は（宣教師団）54坪の土地を購入してくださる。
1967年3月 船津行雄師(1970年に神学校を卒業され、金沢基督教会へ派遣）と
結婚、以降 主管牧師船津行雄師・恭子師ご夫妻は力強い聖霊の働き溢れる教会建設にその人生を
捧げられました。2023年4月セルバラットナム雅子師を主管者として迎え
次の世代へのバトンが渡されました。現在はロイセルバラットナム牧師が毎週
神の御言葉を語られ雅子師が通訳をされております。 

History of Kanazawa Christian Church

In July 1954, Kyoko Yamaguchi, a second-year student at Chuo Bible School, was advised by the school's principal, Kiyoyo Yumiyama
She was a second-year student at the Central Bible School at the time, and was encouraged to pioneer evangelism in Kanazawa. This was because Kyoko Yamaguchi was originally from Kanazawa. She held services every Sunday in Kamariya. Soon after, she moved her mission to Rokuura.
On March 2, 1956, Yamaguchi graduated from Chuo Bible School.
June 5, 1956 Rev. Yamaguchi was appointed as the first head pastor of Kanazawa Christian Church.
September 1957 Chapel dedication ceremony. The church (missionary group) purchases a 54 tsubo plot of land.
Mar. 1967 Married Rev. Yukio Funatsu (who graduated from the seminary in 1970 and was sent to Kanazawa Christian Church)
Since then, the lead pastor, Yukio Funatsu, and his wife, Kyoko, have devoted their lives to building a church overflowing with the powerful work of the Holy Spirit.
In April 2023, the baton was passed to the next generation with Rev.
The baton was passed to the next generation. Pastor Roy Selvaratnam now speaks the Word of God every week.
